HB 104: BUILDING CODE ACT – Amends existing law to provide a definition for agricultural buildings and that counties shall not alter the provisions of the section.
Amends Idaho Code §39-4116 to define 'agricultural buildings' (livestock shelters, barns, silos, etc.) and exempt them from building codes. Prohibits counties from altering this exemption via size limits, exit requirements, or sprinklers. Effective July 1, 2025.
