HB 161: FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICTS – Amends existing law related to meetings, compensation, and the powers and duties of the board of commissioners of a flood control district.
Amends Idaho Code sections 42-3113, 42-3114, and 42-3115 to update flood control district board meeting provisions, commissioner compensation limits, and expand powers including flood risk reduction, emergency response, and procurement flexibility. Effective July 1, 2025.
