HB 173: ALFALFA AND CLOVER SEED – Amends existing law to revise the composition of the commission and to increase assessments.
Amends Idaho Code to expand the Alfalfa and Clover Seed Commission from 6 to 7 members by adding a University of Idaho representative and an alfalfa/clover seed dealer. Increases the assessment on alfalfa and clover seed from 1/4 cent to 1 cent per pound. Effective July 1, 2025.
