HB 175: EDUCATION – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding advanced opportunities.
Amends Idaho Code sections 33-4602 and 33-4603 to revise Advanced Opportunities program provisions. Increases public school student funding to $4,625 for overload courses, dual credits, exams, CTE training, and college entrance tests. Aligns nonpublic school benefits ($2,500 max) including college exams. Clarifies homeschool access via community colleges. Effective July 1, 2025.
