HB 182: CORPORATIONS – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding the protection of vulnerable adults from financial exploitation.

Adds new section 30-14-511 to Idaho Code to protect vulnerable adults (65+ or impaired) from financial exploitation. Authorizes broker-dealers, investment advisers, and financial institutions to report suspected exploitation to authorized agencies, place temporary holds on transactions (up to 30 business days), and share records. Provides immunity for good faith actions. Effective July 1, 2025.
