HB 188: SALARIES OF JUDGES – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding salaries of judges.
Amends Section 59-502, Idaho Code, to increase salaries for Supreme Court justices starting July 1, 2024 ($181,374), with scheduled raises through 2028 ($222,190). Court of Appeals judges receive $8,000 less, district judges $6,000 less than appeals, and magistrates $8,000 less than district. Effective July 1, 2025.
