HB 203: IDAHO COMPETITION ACT – Amends and adds to existing law to provide for monopsonies and to establish provisions regarding the prohibition of pricing algorithms.
Updates Idaho Competition Act to include monopsonies in monopoly prohibitions, adds new Section 48-119 prohibiting pricing algorithms that facilitate collusion using non-public data from multiple sellers/buyers, and provides private right of action. Effective July 1, 2025.
