HB 211: EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS ACT – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding emergency communications fees and to provide for certain fees to be placed in the Idaho emergency communications funds.
Amends the Emergency Communications Act to revise emergency communications fees, direct certain fees to the Idaho Emergency Communications Fund, simplify payments from telecom providers to counties and state, and expand permitted uses of county fees. Declares an emergency effective July 1, 2025.
