HB 212: PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICTS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding the petition to propose a library district.
Amends Idaho Code §33-2704 to increase the number of signatures required on petitions to create public library districts from 50 qualified electors to 20% of qualified electors residing within proposed district boundaries. Effective July 1, 2025.
