HB 214: ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS AND JOURNEYMEN – Amends existing law to revise a provision regarding electrical contractor supervision and to define a term.
Amends Idaho Code §54-1010 to define 'supervision' for electrical contractors, requiring licensed electricians to be available during working hours and responsible for installations. Clarifies licensing, apprentice ratios, and preempts local regulations. Effective July 1, 2025 as emergency legislation.
