HB 225: EDUCATION – Adds to existing law to establish the Mobile Device Policy Fund.
Establishes the School Mobile Device Policy Fund in state treasury to provide need-based grants to school districts and public charter schools implementing bell-to-bell mobile device restriction policies for K-12 students. Managed by State Board of Education office with reporting requirements. Sunsets July 1, 2028.
