HB 254: ELECTIONS – Amends existing law to require certain anti-fraud measures to be employed to ensure election ballots are secure.
Amends Idaho Code §34-901 to require county clerks to implement specific anti-fraud measures for election ballots, including unique identifiers, watermarks, holograms, or security paper, while maintaining voter secrecy. Applies to optical scan, voting machines, and hand-counted ballots. Effective July 1, 2025.
