HB 280: PUBLIC SERVANTS – Amends existing law to provide an exemption for relatives of members of the Legislature participating in the legislative page program.
Amends Idaho Code 18-1359 to exempt legislative page program participants who are relatives of legislators (within second degree) from public servant nepotism restrictions. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025. Passed both chambers unanimously and signed into law.
