HB 29: UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding controlled substances.
Updates Idaho Uniform Controlled Substances Act by adding numerous synthetic fentanyl analogs, benzodiazepine derivatives, synthetic cannabinoids to Schedule I; synthetic anabolic steroids to Schedule III; and zuranolone (post-partum depression treatment) to Schedule IV. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
