HB 298: EDUCATION – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding high school graduation requirements.
Establishes new Chapter 68, Title 33, Idaho Code, setting minimum high school graduation requirements of 46 credits (29 core) including language arts (9), math (6), science (6), social studies (5), humanities (2), health/wellness (1), plus senior project. Defines credit hour, allows mastery-based credits and waivers. Effective July 1, 2025.
