HB 302: FISH AND GAME – Amends existing law to provide for notification of a proposed transplant or relocation of wildlife and approval from a board of county commissioners if a hearing on the same is requested and to require testing of certain animals.

Amends Idaho Code §36-106 to require notification to county commissioners, landowners, and grazing permittees before transplanting or relocating wildlife (excluding fish and predatory wildlife). County commissioners can approve, modify, or reject proposals after hearings if concerns are raised. Requires testing of imported deer, elk, antelope, moose, bighorn sheep, bison, and wolves for diseases transmissible to livestock.
