HB 320: TRANSPARENCY IN LEGISLATIVE TRAVEL – Adds to existing law to require legislative candidates, legislators, and members-elect of the Legislature to report certain travel paid by others.
Requires Idaho legislative candidates, members, and members-elect to report out-of-state travel paid by others to the Secretary of State within 30 days, including destination, dates, purpose, cost, and payer details. Exempts campaign or personal funds. Late filing incurs $25 daily penalty deposited to public school income fund. Effective July 1, 2025.
