HB 338: EDUCATION – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding the Public School Facilities Cooperative Fund and the School District Facilities Fund.
Revises Idaho Code sections 33-909 and 33-911 to update the Public School Facilities Cooperative Funding Program. Expands eligibility for districts with insufficient bond capacity, shifts repayment from state-imposed levies to School District Facilities Fund distributions, transfers $25M from Bond Levy Equalization Fund, and reduces state oversight for smaller projects.
