HB 340: LABOR – Amends existing law to limit the topics subject to collective bargaining by firefighters.
Amends Idaho Code § 44-1802 to limit firefighters' collective bargaining to wages, rates of pay, and working conditions, removing 'all other terms and conditions of employment.' Applies to contracts entered into, amended, renewed, or extended after July 1, 2025. Declares an emergency with effective date of July 1, 2025.
