HB 342: TAXATION – Amends and adds to existing law to provide an income tax credit for certain nonprofit pregnancy centers, to increase the limit on the percentage of income taxpayers can claim on certain credits, and to establish the Choose Life Idaho Fund.
Creates Choose Life Idaho Fund for pregnancy support organizations. Adds pregnancy resource centers to eligible charitable tax credit list (50% credit). Increases individual credit limit from 20% to 35% of tax liability (max $100) and corporate from 10% to 25% (max $500). Allows tax refund designations to new fund. Retroactive to Jan 1, 2025.
