HB 359: ELECTIONS – Amends existing law to require the disclosure of political affiliation in certain election communications.
Requires candidates in partisan elections to disclose party affiliation in all election communications (except stickers/wearables). Amends Idaho Code 67-6614A to mandate prominent display of party name or symbol. Includes legislative findings on voter confusion prevention. Passed House 39-31, transmitted to Senate. Effective July 1, 2025.
