HB 366: PUBLIC HEALTH DISTRICT BOARDS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding the composition of public health district boards.
Amends Section 39-411, Idaho Code, to revise public health district board composition. Requires districts with fewer than 8 counties to have 7 members appointed by county commissioners, prioritizing elected officials and physicians if available. Reduces board member terms from 5 to 2 years. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
