HB 379: TRANSPARENCY IN STATE OFFICIAL TRAVEL – Adds to existing law to require certain state officials to report certain travel paid by others.
Requires Idaho statewide elected officials, candidates, and officers-elect to report out-of-state travel paid by others to the Secretary of State within 30 days, including destination, dates, purpose, and payer details. Late filing incurs $25 daily penalty deposited to public school income fund. Effective July 1, 2025.
