Idaho Capitol Watch
HB 382: EDUCATION – Adds to existing law to establish provisions regarding student immigration status and nationality in Idaho public educational institutions.
Requires Idaho public schools and accredited higher education institutions to record immigration status and nationality of all enrolled students, publish aggregated demographic data annually, and report to the State Superintendent for public posting on the Department of Education website. Adds new Chapter 68 to Title 33, Idaho Code. Effective July 1, 2025.
