HB 384: DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE – Amends and adds to existing law to establish the Wildfire Risk Mitigation Fund.

Creates the Idaho Wildfire Risk Mitigation Fund to help homeowners mitigate wildfire risks, improve property insurance access, and stabilize the insurance market. Funds premium tax excess over $113M, stamping fees, and grants. Effective July 1, 2025.
