HB 407: COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE DISTRICTS – Amends and adds to existing law to provide for a temporary assessment to fund fire protection and emergency medical services.
Amends the Community Infrastructure District Act to revise formation provisions and definitions in sections 50-3101 and 50-3102, Idaho Code, and adds new section 50-3122 to authorize temporary assessments (max 5 years) on residential properties to fund fire protection and emergency medical services. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
