HB 411: LOCAL GOVERNMENT – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding compensation and benefits of local boards.
Amends multiple Idaho Code sections to standardize compensation for local government board members across 20 different special districts including airport authorities, fair boards, weed control committees, fire protection districts, and others. Prohibits retirement and health care benefits for board members while standardizing expense reimbursement under section 59-509(b), Idaho Code. Includes grandfather clause for existing benefits and emergency clause.
