HB 421: CYBERSECURITY AND RESILIENCY FUND – Adds to existing law to establish the Cybersecurity and Resiliency Fund to address the state’s need for information technology and cybersecurity infrastructure.
Establishes the Cybersecurity and Resiliency Fund in the state treasury to address ongoing needs for IT infrastructure and cybersecurity technology. Funds come from legislative appropriations or transfers. Requires the Office of Information Technology Services to create and annually update a five-year replacement plan, submitted via the budget process. Effective July 1, 2025 due to emergency clause.
