HB 430: PUBLIC HEALTH DISTRICTS – Amends existing law to provide that a county may withdraw from a public health district.
Allows Idaho counties to withdraw from public health districts by majority vote of county commissioners. Withdrawing counties assume their own public health responsibilities and are no longer required to fund or receive funds from the district. Amends sections 39-408, 39-424, and 39-424A, Idaho Code. Emergency clause effective July 1, 2025.
