HB 44: EDUCATION – Amends existing law to revise certain requirements regarding harassment, intimidation, and bullying in public schools.
Amends Section 33-1631, Idaho Code, to revise school district requirements for harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB) information dissemination, professional development, graduated consequences, incident reporting to parents and law enforcement for suspensions, and annual reporting to the State Department of Education. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
