HB 440: LOCAL GOVERNMENT – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding compensation and benefits of local boards.
Eliminates compensation, retirement, and health benefits for members of numerous local government boards and districts including airport authorities, fair boards, weed control committees, fire protection districts, library districts, and others. Existing benefit recipients continue until term expiration.
