HB 48: CONCEALED WEAPONS – Amends existing law to revise a provision regarding course instruction for an enhanced license to carry a concealed weapon.
Amends Idaho Code §18-3302K to revise training requirements for enhanced concealed carry licenses, clarifying that retired law enforcement officers with intermediate+ POST certification can instruct the legal portion of required handgun courses. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
