HB 485: MINIMUM WAGES – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding the Idaho minimum wage.
Amends Idaho Code §44-1502 to increase minimum wage from $7.25 to $12/hour (July 2025), $15/hour (July 2026), $17/hour (July 2027), with annual CPI adjustments from 2028. Tipped wage rises from $3.35 to $6/$7/$8 correspondingly. Prohibits local governments from setting higher wages. Emergency clause effective July 1, 2025.
