HB 50: PUBLIC WORKS – Amends existing law to revise a provision regarding delegation of public works projects.
Increases delegation threshold for public works projects from $300,000 to $500,000. Allows Division of Public Works administrator to delegate control of smaller projects to state agencies with Permanent Building Fund Advisory Council approval. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
