HB 78: DRIVER’S LICENSES AND IDENTIFICATION CARDS – Amends and adds to existing law to establish electronic driver’s licenses and identification cards.
Establishes electronic driver's licenses and ID cards compliant with AAMVA/ISO standards by July 1, 2026. Requires physical licenses for voter ID at polls. Authorizes ITD to implement digital credential system with privacy protections.
