HB 81: LIABILITY OF RECREATION CLUBS AND THEIR MEMBERS – Adds to existing law to limit the liability of recreation clubs and their members.
Limits liability of recreation clubs and unpaid members/volunteers for injuries/deaths during free recreational activities (hunting, fishing, hiking, etc.). Exceptions for gross negligence, equipment defects, intentional acts. Enforceable negligence waivers allowed. Effective July 1, 2025.
