HB 90: PUBLIC ASSISTANCE – Amends existing law to require legislative action for certain changes to public assistance programs.
Requires legislative approval via statute for any expansion of financial eligibility criteria or benefits in public assistance programs, effective July 1, 2025. Prohibits such changes through rules, state plans, or agency guidance. Signed into law as Chapter 103.
