HJR 3: ILLEGAL DRUGS – States findings of the Legislature and proposes an amendment to the Idaho Constitution requiring a 2/3 vote of the Legislature to legalize certain illegal drugs.
Proposes constitutional amendment to Section 26, Article III requiring 2/3 supermajority vote in both legislative houses to legalize unlawful drugs (defined as substances with no legal medical use under Idaho law). States legislative findings on negative impacts of drug legalization. Currently returned to House State Affairs Committee after third reading.
