SB 1018: COUNSELORS AND THERAPISTS – Amends existing law to provide that fingerprint-based criminal history background checks shall be submitted if required by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses.
Amends Idaho Code sections 54-3405, 54-3405A, 54-3405B, and 54-3405C to make fingerprint-based criminal history background checks for counselors and marriage/family therapists required only if mandated by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses. Declares an emergency.
