SB 1032: EDUCATION – Adds to existing law to provide for a distraction-free learning policy.
Requires all Idaho school districts and public charter schools to adopt policies by Dec 31, 2025 limiting student use of electronic communication devices during school hours to promote distraction-free learning. Allows full bans and exceptions for IEPs. Effective July 1, 2025.
