SB 1033: RIGHT TO FARM ACT – Amends and adds to existing law to provide penalties for certain complaints filed against agricultural operations.
Amends Idaho Code §22-4505 to strengthen Right to Farm Act protections by allowing prevailing agricultural operators to recover attorney fees in nuisance lawsuits and imposing fines/penalties for repeat meritless complaints against compliant operations. Effective July 1, 2025.
