SB 1046: EDUCATION – Adds to existing law to provide for human growth and development instruction in public schools.
Requires Idaho public schools (grades 5-12) to provide human growth and development instruction including 3-minute HD ultrasound videos of early fetal development and animations of fertilization through birth. Mandatory in biology, contraception, and STI classes. AG enforcement via mandamus. Effective July 1, 2025.
