SB 1054: BEANS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding the Idaho Bean Commission and tax levies on beans.
Revises Idaho Bean Commission statutes by updating commission structure, definitions, and increasing the bean tax levy from 12¢ to a range of 16¢-24¢ per hundredweight. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
