SB 1056: STATE EMPLOYEES – Amends existing law to provide that attorneys of the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses shall be nonclassified employees.
Amends Idaho Code § 67-5303 to classify attorneys employed by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses as nonclassified state employees, aligning them with similar professional roles. Declares an emergency with effective date of July 1, 2025.
