SB 1062: STATE LANDS – Amends existing law to establish requirements for commercial land use authorizations on state endowment land.
Amends Section 58-307, Idaho Code, to require state land lessees for commercial purposes to comply with county planning and zoning ordinances, mandates notice to county commissioners after executing leases, and ensures revenues from such agreements are subject to public disclosure. Declares an emergency with effective date of July 1, 2025.
