SB 1073: MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding solid waste collection systems.
Amends Idaho Code §50-344 to clarify cities' authority over solid waste collection systems, allowing persons to contract with chosen providers for temporary, project-specific containers as defined by city ordinance. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025. Signed into law (Chapter 238).
