SB 1077: IDAHO CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER GRANT PROGRAM – Amends and adds to existing law to establish the Idaho Crisis Pregnancy Center Grant Program and to revise provisions regarding abortions performed in cases of rape or incest.
Creates Idaho Crisis Pregnancy Center Grant Program to fund nonprofit centers providing pregnancy counseling (no abortions). Establishes grant fund, application process, and criteria based on clients served. Revises Defense of Life Act to require police/child services report and 24-hour informed consent for first-trimester abortions in rape/incest cases. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
