SB 1082: WATER – Amends existing law to provide that liens for irrigation district assessments have a first priority over other liens.
Amends Idaho Code § 43-706 to clarify that irrigation district assessment liens have first priority over mortgages and other liens, aligning with other water delivery lien statutes. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
