SB 1097: EDUCATION – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding approval of public charter schools.
Amends Section 33-5203, Idaho Code, to revise public charter school approval provisions. Removes prohibition on converting entire school districts to charter districts, clarifies application timelines, approval processes, and LEA designations. Declares emergency effective July 1, 2025.
