HB 518: HUMAN TRAFFICKING – Amends existing law to provide that the Attorney General shall have certain authority.
Amends Section 18-8605, Idaho Code, to expand Attorney General's authority in human trafficking cases by allowing state/local law enforcement to submit investigations for AG prosecution at his discretion, while maintaining existing reporting, training, and assistance duties.
